When a restaurant in Georgetown decided to turn their catering pavilion into a bar, we designed and fabricated this Texas Mesquite and raw steel bar. Steel stanchions and plywood sheathing provided the structure and enclosed the bar equipment. A 70’ long continuous strip of mesquite forms the bar. Progressively larger glue-ups allowed us to create the continuous surface in place. Then mesquite end-grain flooring surfaced the wall. A custom laser-cut steel bracket supports the steel pipe footrest.
